So not only did we get news of his deployment this week, we also got word that he is heading out to 29 Palms for 2 weeks next month. These little "get aways" are annoying. They do a little bit of work during the day and then it's like a vacation after they're done. They don't even work every day. So he gets to go off and have fun with the guys and I get stuck here alone.
I can't even go home because I still don't have a car. Pitty party over here :-(

I hear ya girl. Danny will be in PA for 2 weeks in Sept. Working every other day. And eating delicious food the rest of the time. BOO!

ReplyDeleteI hate the little getaways too. There is never much support for wives going through those because people always want to shoot their mouth off and say things that start with "Just be thankful..." blah blah blah.

ReplyDeleteUgh, that stinks man. Im sorry. I hate when hubs is away...but still in the states...it feels like a tease. Not that I like when he deploys either lol. Will he be taking his car with him?? If not, you could use his?
ReplyDeleteNo he is flying. The only problem is he doesn't have a car, he has a giant truck. It's a super gas hog and not fun to drive what so ever. I hate driving it for 30 minutes let alone 13 hours lol.
